To all our authors, reviewers, Editorial Board members, readers, friends and supporters,
We’re delighted to announce that Policy & Politics (P&P) has achieved a 2-year Impact Factor of 3.5 in the 2025 Journal Citation Reports, maintaining its position in the top quartile of journals in both Public Administration and Political Science.

The journal is ranked 22 out of 97 journals in Public Administration and 45 out of 332 journals in Political Science, placing it among the leading international journals in both fields.

The editorial team with Bristol University Press as our committed publishing partner remain dedicated to supporting a diverse international community publishing rigorous, innovative and inclusive scholarship that advances understanding of the policy process and discusses the broader implications for politics, power and democratic processes.

While citation metrics can only ever provide a partial picture of a journal’s contribution, we recognise that they remain an important indicator of scholarly reach and influence. We are therefore pleased to see the continued strength of P&P’s citation performance and the broad engagement with the research published in the journal.

These results reflect the outstanding work of our authors, the dedication of our peer reviewers and Editorial Board members, and the support of our readers and colleagues across the scholarly community. We are extremely grateful for your continued contributions to the journal’s success.

Thank you for your support.
